Cancellers

RF Interference mitigation solutions from MPG includes cancellation via the classic referenced approach, as well as via a referenceless design.

cancellers

Overview

RF Interference mitigation solutions include cancellation via the classic referenced approach, as well as via a referenceless design. VHF/UHF referenced canceler designs significanly reduce strong interfering RF signals from co-located emitters to enable proper receiver operation. Referenceless designs are able to auto-tune to on-board or off-board signals to enable the reception of low-level RF signals in your collection/surveillance system.

Benefits

The MPG Solutions Canceller Series offers the following benefits:

  • Cancels in-band interferers on the same mobile platform
  • Detects frequency changes of the interferer automatically and cancels the revised interference even with frequency hopping signals
  • Provides 5 channels, each of which can be selected to cover 30-88 MHz, 116-174 MHz or 225-400 MHz

 Capabilities

Problems Solved

MPG Solutions Canceller Series rejects the interferer’s amplitude at the receive location and are designed to solve the following challenges:

  • Undesired RF signals from associated remitters
  • Situations where receive signal offset is changing over time due to frequency hopping of the signal

Referenced Cancellers

MPG Multi-Channel Interference Canceller (MIC) devices, also known as Referenced Cancellers, integrate receivers and antennas, while cancelling in-band cosite interference.
